3C coating is mainly used for computer, communication and consumptive electronic appliance coating. Computers and mobile phones mainly use ABS, ABS+PC, PC, PP, nylon, composite materials and so on.

The 3C sector contains a wide variety of consumer products such as computers and mobile phones, and the appropriate acrylic coatings and resins for them have different requirements. Laptops and mobile phones now typically use a one-component acrylic coating as a primer, while topcoats have evolved from the traditional two-component polyurethane to the UV-curable topcoats now commonly used. As a primer, it needs to be fast drying and have good adhesion to the substrate, while the topcoat needs to be hard, flexible, with good gloss and fullness.

It is a new process for the preparation of thin films for scientific research and practical production based on vacuum technology, using physical or chemical methods and incorporating a range of new technologies such as electron beam, molecular beam, ion beam, plasma beam, radio frequency and magnetic control. Simply put, the method of evaporating or sputtering a metal, alloy or compound in a vacuum so that it solidifies and is deposited on the object being coated (called substrate) is called vacuum coating.
